REGROOVING THE DREAM
"Regrooving was the first studio album I made for my new label, Vanguard. I think of it as a kaleidoscope of styles and colors: an Appalachian ballad, played on distorted electric guitar, a samba of love with a cascading cello part that catapults it into the blues, a slamming instrumental that segues into a hip hop beat, complete with samples and musical information that flies at you out of nowhere.
